How to Beat The Fallen

Below 60% health, The Fallen summons spectral dark phantoms that mirror its scythe cleaves with a half-second delay. These phantoms share vulnerability and perish instantly to any area ice or holy burst — testing your sub-weapon application under pressure.

The Fallen raises its dark scythe for a telegraphed two-handed vertical strike indicated by red trajectory trails. Dodging sideways through the swing grants total invulnerability; backstepping out of range is equally reliable. The cleave comes in three consecutive strikes — wait for the third recovery before counter-attacking.

Sustained consecutive whip strikes deplete The Fallen's posture gauge. When broken, the demon collapses for four seconds of critical vulnerability. Disengaging for too long lets posture recover, resetting your stagger progress.

Equip the Belmont Leathers, five Holy Frostbrew vials, and at least one anvil polish upgrade (+2 damage). The Fallen is aligned with dark flame — every Ice-imbued strike deals double damage and staggers twice as fast.

• Maintain mid-range spacing to bait predictable scythe cleaves rather than wing sweeps.
• Evade through the first two swings and roll behind on the third swing.
• At 60% health, deploy a Frost Vial area blast to instantly vaporize phantom adds.
• Punish recovery windows with full three-hit whip combos until the boss falls.

The Fallen drops the Crypt Gate Key, unsealing the descent into Dracula's Castle & Catacombs. Be sure to pick up the key from the spire terrace before leaving.
